Zamalek football club have officially protested to the Confederation of African Football, complaining that Sanga Balende football club of DR Congo didn't inform them with the arena they will be hosted at for the CAF Cup round of 16 scheduled for Sunday.
"Sanga Balende officials are practicing procrastination and maneuver policies to pressure the team, while the CAF ignores it," the club stated on their official website Wednesday.
On Sunday, the Embassy of the DR Congo officially wrote to Zamalek to inform them with the match date after they announced they would complain to FIFA because the DR Congo side had not yet chosen a date for the match.
Zamalek, who are bidding for their first cup, eliminated Morocco's FUS Rabat in Round 32.
