Ranging from comedy to action, six star-studded movies are set to be released for Eid Al-Adha which is expected to begin on 23 September.

The film Men Dahr Ragel (Behind a Man's Back), starring Aaser Yassin, Mahmoud Hemeida and Yasser Galal, revolves around a struggling wrestler who falls in love.

El-Leila El-Kebira (The Big Night), starring Nelly Karim, Zeina and Somaya El-Khashab, depicts a day spent at a moulid (religious celebration) through stories of the people living in the area.

Ola Ghanem tackles social issues in her film Amood Faqry (Spinal Cord), and Ghada Ibrahim leads the cast of Sharia Mohamed Ali (Mohamed Ali Street), which focusses on the lives and struggles of traditional musicians and oriental dancers.

On a lighter note come two comedy films, as singer Tamer Hosny stars with Ghada Adel in the romantic comedy Ahwak (I Love You), and Yasmine Abdel-Aziz stars in El-Shorta El-Nesaeya (The Female Police).
