A Palestinian woman was shot dead on Sunday by Israeli troops after allegedly trying to stab an Israeli policeman. 

Another Palestinian man, who was picking olives, was seriously wounded when he was shot several times  by an Israeli settler, according to Palestinian security sources.

Meanwhile, two Israelis were wounded in Palestinian attacks, according to Israeli police.

For weeks now, Palestinians have been protesting repeated Israeli and Jewish settlers' attacks on Al-Aqsa mosque and closing the Muslim holy site on a number of occasions to worshippers.

On Friday, more than 80 Palestinians were wounded in Israeli crackdown on protesters in the occupied West Bank and Gaza Strip.

Since the start of this month, more than 52 Palestinians and one Israeli Arab have died in protests or at checkpoints.

Eight Israelis have been killed. One Israeli Jew and one Eritrean have been killed after being mistaken for attackers.
