World number one and top seed Mohamed El-Shorbagy beat Ryan Cuskelly from Australia in straight sets on Thursday to reach the Qatar Classic final.

It was an easy ride for the Egyptian champion who won 11/7, 11/4 and 11/9 in only 39 minutes against Cuskelly.

"Ryan had a great week, I am just glad I didn't become his next victim," El-Shorbagy said after the game.

The Australian is the surprise package of this tournament as he beat world number three Miguel Rodriguez from Colombia in the quarters to reach the semis for the first time ever.
