Egypt's core inflation rate rose to 6.26 percent in October compared to the same month a year earlier, the central bank announced on Tuesday.
Monthly core inflation rate increased by 1.23 percent in October compared to 0.79 percent in September.
Official statistics agency announced earlier on Tuesday that the annual urbal inflation rate accelerated to 9.7 percent in October from 9.2 percent in September.
