Ahly's Ahmed Hegazy (Al-Ahram)
Ahly defender Ahmed Hegazy has been the latest summer-signing to join the treatment room following injuries to Malick Evouna and Ahmed El-Sheikh during the club's training camp in Dubai.
Egypt defender Hegazy, a key member in Ahly's backline, is set to undergo scans to determine the nature and the full extent of the injury sustained after feeling pain in his thigh and knee.
Likewise, Gabon hitman Evouna was not able to resume training after receiving a knock to his ankle, before midfielder El-Sheikh picked up another knee problem.
Ahly, who are managed by Portuguese manager Jose Peseiro, are currently preparing for the Egyptian league restart when they take on Smouha on December 17.
The Reds are currently seventh of the Egyptian league standings on nine points from four games.
