Egypt’s popular English language radio station Nile FM has released their take on the popular 'Last Christmas' song by the 1980s band Wham!

The team premiered the song during the morning show of 17 December, and following the last year's practice, the video was posted on YouTube in the early hours of 20 December.

The song cover comes as an outburst of festive enthusiasm linked to the Christmas season, rather than a musically correct presentation of the known hit.

Last year, the team sung, in the same spirit, Mariah Carey's All I Want For Christmas.

The song has met with mixed reviews, with some listeners applauding the efforts and enjoying the festive spirit, and others expressing their criticism towards its musical delivery.
