Egyptian midfielder Mahmoud 'Trezeguet' Hassan could make his debut with Anderlecht in Wednesday's league match against Lokeren, the Belgian club announced.
"Yes, I want to take Trezeguet. He played a few minutes with the U-21 team and is hungry for more. Whether he plays or not, Wednesday we will see," Anderlecht coach Besnik Hasi said in a press conference late on Tuesday.
Trezeguet, who featured with Anderlecht's B team in Friday's 2-0 loss to Genk, has recently rejoined in his side's training after recovering from a shoulder surgery that sidelined him for around two months.
The 22-year-old picked up his dislocated shoulder injury during an Egypt training session in the United Arab Emirates, where they faced Zambia in a friendly game in October.
Trezeguet joined Anderlecht from Egypt's Ahly on a season-long loan in the summer but he is yet to make his debut with the club.
After 20 rounds, Anderlecht currently lies fourth at the league table with 37 points, six behind leaders Gent.
