Warm weather continues across Egypt into early next week

Meteorologists predict warm weather will last in Egypt into early next week nationwide, with high temperatures hovering around 20 degrees Celsius.

Morning fogs are expected around the capital Cairo and the north and eastern coasts, with windy weather predicted in the country's southern governorates, state news agency MENA reported.

The weather will see highs of 20 C (68 Fahrenheit) and 19 C (66 F) in Cairo and the Mediterranean city of Alexandria respectively, with lows of 11(52 F) and 12 (54 F).

Temperatures in the northern Nile Delta regions will see average highs of 19 C (66 Fahrenheit) and lows of 13 C (56 F).

Moderate winds along the Red Sea will result in rough waters for navigation.

Conditions in the Mediterranean are steadier, with an average wave height and moderate wind speed.
