Ahly's assistant coach Mohamed Abdel-Azim believes that his side will not be affected by the administration trouble that hit the club recently, confirming that players are not concerned with these problems.
Cairo administrative court dissolved the board of the club on Sunday after accepting the proceedings of a lawsuit that nullified the 2014 elections, due to "procedural failure."
The board, led by Chairman Mahmoud Taher, announced they will appeal the decision before the supreme administrative court, but the club's board is yet to file the challenges.
"We are not concerned with the club's administration problems," Abdel-Azim told reporters on Sunday.
"We focus only on our preparations for the upcoming games."
The Cairo giants will face newly promoted side Aswan on Tuesday, and will be looking to bounce back from their goalless draw against Wadi Degla.
Despite dropping two more points against Wadi Degla, the team's assistant coach believes that his side performed well during the game insisting that the negative results would not continue.
Ahly are ninth on the league table with 13 points, eight behind leaders Maqassa who have played three more games.
"It is clear that the team improved against Wadi Degla. We wasted many goal-scoring opportunities during the game and I think that with this performance our negative result will not continue," he concluded.
