Ahly Ghanaian striker John Antwi and midfielder Ahmed El-Sheikh have been included in the team's African squad.
The Cairo giants' coach Jose Peseiro has sidelined Antwi and El-Sheikh from the team's regular squad for domestic games in the Egyptian Premier League, driving speculation the duo will leave the team when the winter transfer window reopens January.
Ahly will represent Egypt in the African Champions League this season alongside the league winners Zamalek after placing second in the Egyptian Premier League last season.
The 22-year-old Ghanaian attacker Antwi, who spent two years in the Egyptian league playing for Ismaily, scoring 28 goals, joined Ahly last summer for four years coming from Saudi side Al-Shabab.
Antwi had a flying start, scoring five goals in three games before sustaining an ankle injury against Esperance of Tunisia in a Confederation Cup game last August. After the arrival of new coach Peseiro he missed the team's lineups.
The former Maqassa attacking midfielder Ahmed El-Sheikh joined Ahly last summer but failed to book a place in the team's regular squad and didn't play any official game with the team.
Ahly's African squad:
