Handball: Algeria defeat Cameroon in African Championship

Algeria have claimed their third successive win in the handball African Nation Cup group stage defeating Cameroon 34-27 Monday.

Algeria started the game strong ending the first half 19-11. 

The North African team have recovered from opener defeat against hosts Egypt to defeat Gabon, Morocco, and Cameroon respectively in group A of the championship.

Later on Monday, Morocco will play Nigeria before Egypt take on Gabon in the same group of the competition.

In Group B, Angola defeated DR Congo 28-24 later Monday before Kenya clash with Libya and Congo compete against Tunisia.

The best four teams from each group will compete in a knock-out quarterfinals stage.
