Egyptian bourse opens in red

Egypt’s stock exchange benchmark, the EGX30, has slipped 0.91 per cent half-way thorugh Thursday trade.

It closed Wedneday in green after rising an impressive 4 per cent.

Al Kahera Al Watania Investment is seeing the sharpest fall, down 5.30 per cent, followed by Mansourah Poultry, which has lost 4.81 per cent.

Egypt’s biggest listed firm Orascom Construction Industries (OCI) has dropped 0.60 per cent while Ezz Steel has dipped 2.02 per cent.
