Zamalek’s star winger Mostafa Fathi has pledged his future to Zamalek after penning a deal with them until 2021.

Fathi, 21, was already tied to Zamalek until 2019 before chairman Mortada Mansour decided to extend his contract for another two years.

The decision to renew Fathi's contract is understood to have come upon the request of manager Mido, who also requested to have his prized asset's salary increased.

Fathi has been instrumental for Zamalek this season, having scored four goals -- with all of them coming from substitute appearances -- including a stunner against Masry.

His mesmerising skills down the flank were believed to have caught the eyes of several European clubs, including Inter Milan and Empoli.

Fathi broke into Zamalek's first-team in the 2013-14 league season where he scored three goals – including a memorable strike against Wadi Degla.
