Ahly will be boosted by defender Ahmed Hegazy, midfielder Hossam Ashour and striker Malick Evouna in Tuesday's anticipated league derby against rivals Zamalek after the trio recovered from various injuries, the club announced Saturday.

"Hegazy has recovered from fatigue and appeared in today's session without problems. Ashour is also fit after recovering from a knock to his foot that sidelined him in yesterday's training," Ahly's doctor Khaled Mahmoud told the club's official website.

"Evouna has also recovered from injury and will be avaible for Zamalek's match," he added.

Ahly's squad headed Saturday to Alexandria, where they are scheduled to play the derby Tuesday at Borg El-Arab Stadium.

"We preferred to travel early to Alexandria to get the players fully concentrated in the match's atmosphere," Ahly's football director Sayed Abdel-Hafiz declared.

"The players are optimistic to achieve a positive result. I hope the match will be the right model of the Egyptian football derby," he added.

Ahly sit on top of the Egyptian Premier League table with 35 points, four ahead of Zamalek after 15 matches.
