The Netherlands-Flemish Institute (NVIC) will screen Those Who Feel The Fire Burning, as part of its NVICinema programme.
Those Who Feel The Fire Burning is by Dutch filmmaker Morgan Knibbe, and was produced in 2014.
As Knibbe lived with migrant families in Italy and Greece, the film takes an unconventional and rather poetic take on Europe’s refugee crisis, as the ghost of a dead man tells the story.
The film is the Dutch entry for the Oscars 2016 for Best Feature Documentary and has won two Dutch Academy Awards for Best Feature Documentary and Best Sound Design, as well as being nominated at IDFA 2014 for Best International Film.
Programme:
7pm, 21 February, Those Who Feel The Fire Burning
NVIC Netherlands-Flemish Institute in Cairo, 1 Dr. Mahmoud Azmi Street, Zamalek
