Zamalek midfielder Tarek Hamed is still not completely ready ahead of his team’s Aswan game on Thursday in match-day 19 of the Egyptian Premier League after recovering from injury.

"Hamed continued rehabilitation trainings amid preparations for the Aswan game," the club stated on Tuesday on their official website.

The 29-year-old was previously sidelined due to a knee injury.

Newly-signed Zambian striker Emmanuel Mayuka will still miss the green as he is in ongoing rehabilitation under interim coach Mohamed Salah, who succeeded the sacked Ahmed 'Mido' Hossam following the team’s 2-0 defeat to Ahly last week.

The title-holders are struggling against their classic rivals Ahly who lead the table with 39 points from 17 matches, seven points ahead of Zamalek.

In other news, Zamalek have been offered a friendly game against Holland’s PSV Eindhoven in March but the club is yet to take up the offer.
