Between 23 and 27 February, the Cairo art-house cinema Zawya will screen iconic films starring the late internationally-renowned Swedish actress Ingrid Bergman.
The journey through the films will open on 23 February with a closed screening of In Her Own Words, the Swedish documentary about the actress that was released in 2015, a year marking Bergman's birth centenary.
In Her Own Words premiered at the 68th Cannes Film Festival in the classics section.
The tribute to Bergman is a result of cooperation between Zawya, the Italian Cultural Institute and the Embassy of Sweden.
