A number of public figures, including former presidential candidate Amr Moussa and members of the committee which drafted the 2014 constitution, will announce Tuesday the launch of the non-governmental "Egyptian Institution to Protect the Constitution."
The institution includes political science professor Nevine Mossaad, law professor Fouad Abdel-Moneim Riad, heart surgeon Magdi Yacoub, writer and journalist Mohamed Salmawy, lawyer Mona Thou Alfaccar, political expert Samir Morcos, journalist Abdallah Al-Sennawy, former foreign minister Nabil Fahmy, law professor Nour Farahat, lawyer and economist Ziad Bahaa Eldin, former member of parliament Amr El-Sahobaki, and other public figures.
A press conference will be held at noon at the press syndicate to announce the launch.
