Zamalek’s Magnolia Leaves of Art will screen Inside Llewin Davis (2013) on 28 March.
The film follows a young folk singer, Llewyn Davis, as he navigates New York City in 1961 struggling to get his big break into the music world.
He bravely and desperately embarks on a journey, relying on the kindness of friends and strangers, going from Greenwich Village to Chicago, and tries to reach out to a music mogul who can help him make a name for himself.
The film stars Oscar Isaac, Carey Mulligan, Justin Timberlake and John Goodman.
Inside Lewyn Davis is directed, produced, and edited by Joel and Ethan Coen, the American filmmakers who are known for quirky films that combine elements of dark comedy and drama.
The award winning duo are the directors of No Country for Old Men, The Big Lebowski, and The Man Who Wasn’t There, and their most recent Hail, Caesar!
