The Muslim Brotherhood's website has said the group has fired Magdy Ashour, the only Brotherhood member to make it to parliament.
The Brotherhood, which fielded 130 candidates in the elections, decided to pull out of the vote in the second round, citing vote rigging and irregularities. But Ashour contested the second round anyway.
