Ahly have set the sale price for youngster Ramadan Sobhi at €8m, Al-Ahram daily newspaper reported on Monday.

Italian giants AC Milan, according to a report in Italian media, are monitoring the 19-year-old, in-form youngster.

Sobhi, who can operate as a winger or playmaker, came under the spotlight recently after his outstanding performances with the Cairo giants and the Egyptian national team.

He has been key in settling many matches in Ahly's favour thanks to his skills and physique, which have made him a darling of the fans.

Sobhi, who came through the youth ranks of Ahly, made his debut with the Reds at only 17 years of age, scoring 15 goals in 76 appearances so far.

He was one of Egypt's best performers when he recently created a goal for Mohamed Salah in a vital 1-1 draw away to Nigeria. Sobhi then scored the solitary goal that gave the Pharaohs a 1-0 home win over the Super Eagles to put them on the verge of reaching next year's African Cup of Nations in Gabon.

Meanwhile, Ahly’s football sector are working to retrieve the services of their winger Mahmoud 'Trezeguet' Hassan next summer after finishing his loan spell with Belgian side Anderlecht to replace Sobhi in the team's squad.

The Egyptian international Trezeguet joined Anderlecht in the summer from Cairo giants Ahly and has so far failed to establish himself, playing only 107 minutes in four games.

After his recovery from a shoulder injury during an Egypt training camp in October, Trezeguet has struggled to clinch a starting role with Anderlecht.
