Egypt's foreign minister Sameh Shoukry discussed in a Cairo meeting on Thursday with Moussa El-Koni, the deputy head of Libya's presidential council of the national accord government, the latest developments in Libya and the importance of achieving Libyan political reconciliation.

According to the Egyptian foreign ministry, the two discussed efforts to reach reconciliation in Libya in order to achieve the goals of all parties involved and to ensure the success of the national accord government.
