Egyptian stocks have made their second day of gains after a week of losses, the EGX30 benchmark closing up 1.23 per cent at 4,463.7 points.
Market turnover was LE397.3 million, a strong improvement on last week's average, although stock performance was more mixed than Monday, with the majority of shares finishing the red.
Trade was clustered around a select number of high-caps, among them Orascom Telecom, Orascom Construction and Mobinil.
