Egypt stocks take dip, rally proves short-lived

Egyptian stocks have slid back into the red, the benchmark EGX30 index closing down 0.68 per cent at 4,433 points.

Market turnover was LE216.6 million, with high-cap Orascom Telecom seeing around a sixth --  some LE31.37m -- of total trade.
 
The Bourse rallied on Monday and Tuesday after a straight week of losses that saw the EGX30 lose around 10 per cent of its value.
