Egypt's government buys 50,000 tons of Brazilian sugar

Egypt's state-owned Sugar and Integrated Industries Company [SIIC] said on Monday it bought 50,000 tonnes of Brazilian sugar in a tender.

The sugar was bought at $628.60 per tonne from Eridania for shipment Oct. 15 to Nov. 15, a SIIC official said.
