Security officials in the Cairo Airport have denied Algerian media reports that eight family members of Libya's ousted leader, Gaddafi, arrived in Egypt with plans to settle down.
“There is no truth to the reports circulated by Algerian media and no one from the Gaddafi family has arrived in Cairo; neither from Algeria nor other countries,” the source said. “Airlines have been given strict instructions that all Libyans entering Egypt should have visas and get security approval from Egyptian embassies before they arrive in the country.”
Algerian media had reported this morning that eight members of the Gaddafi family arrived In Cairo after residing in Algeria during the last period. The Gaddafi family members had allegedly crossed the Libyan border into Algeria after the revolution started.
