Ahly clinched the Egyptian Premier League title winning Ismaily 2-1 Friday
Ahly have announced the list of injured players ahead of the upcoming game against Ivory Coast's ASEC Mimosas in the CAF Champions League group stage.
The Cairo giants are scheduled to face ASEC in the second matchday of Group A games Tuesday.
After Sunday's training session, Ahly's doctor Khaled Mahmoud revealed the situation of the players and their availability for the crucial game.
Ahly's injury list has been growing after the 2-1 win over Ismaily and which gave them the Egyptian Premier League title with two matches to spare on Friday.
The list includes striker Malick Evouna, midfielders Hossam Ashour and Abdallah El-Saied, and full-back Ahmed Fathi. However, only Evouna and El-Saied would not be able to play against ASEC.
"Evouna is recovering from an ankle injury that sidelined him from the Ismaily game and he is doing well but he is still out of action," the Ahly doctor told reporters.
"Hossam Ashour suffers from a knock he sustained during the Ismaily game but it won't sideline him from Tuesday's game against ASEC," he added.
"The team's full-back, Ahmed Fathi, also suffered from a minor injury, but he is fit for the ASEC game."
"Scans have showed that Abdalla El-Saied is doing well with his shoulder injury, but he will continue to be out of action," Ahly's doctor said.
Ahly's latest Egyptian Premier League title is the club's 38th.
