Layla Min Alf Layla (One of a Thousand Nights), the successful theatre production starring Egyptian actor Yehia El-Fakharany and directed by Mohsen Helmi, will return to Egypt’s National Theatre starting 7 July.

The production premiered on 13 August 2015 and had grossed LE1 million by October 2015.

The crew comprises Egyptian actress Heba Magdy, singer Mohamed Mohsen, actor Lotfy Labib as well as Diaa Abdelkhalek, Salma Gharib and the National Theatre's artists.

This is El-Fakharany's first play since he starred in William Shakespeare’s King Lear in 2001.
