Libya national football team
Egypt will host the Libyan national football team's coming games in the African 2018 World Cup qualifiers, after the Confederation of African Football (CAF) refused to allow the Mediterranean Knights to play their games at home, the Libyan Football Federation announced on Saturday.
Libya have been drawn in Group A of the 2018 World Cup qualifiers, alongside Tunisia, DR Congo and Guinea.
They will start their World Cup qualifiers campaign against Tunisia on 7 November.
Libya played their previous World Cup qualifiers in Tunisia, but the Libyan Football Federation decided to change the venue after they were drawn in the same group as their north African neighbours.
The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has banned Libya from playing their games at home due to security reasons.
