The Syrian army said it cut off all supply routes into the eastern, rebel-held part of the northern city of Aleppo, state news agency SANA reported on Wednesday.

Statements from the Syrian army said all armed people in eastern Aleppo could put down their weapons and safely leave or stay in the city
