23:40 Boxer Mohamed Walid Seddiq lost to Josh Kelly from Great Britain 3-0 in the preliminary round of the 69 kg event.

20:50 Ahmed Ragab ended Race 2 in the 22nd place timing 47:30 minutes.

20:20 Egypt shooter  Ahmed Kamar missed out on the chance of competing for a bronze medal after finishing fifth. Having earlier qualified for the semis, he lost a duel against Britain's Edward Ling. He failed to reach the final after managing 12 successful hits out of 15. 

19:45 Ahmed Ragab ended Race 1 in the 36th rank, as he is currently competing in Race 2.

17:20 Egypt shooter Ahmed Kamar has qualified for the Trap Men's Semi-finals after finishing fourth with 119 hits recorded, while fellow Abdel-Aziz Mehelba has been eliminated after finishing in 24th rank. 

16:25 Egyptian Judo contender Mohamed Mohyeldein has been eliminated from the round of 32 by veteran Mongolia's Odbayar Ganbaatar, who won 10 World Cup medals since 2010. 

15:15 Egypt shooter Hamada Talaat, who has been embroiled in the controversial Saudi flag issue, has been eliminated from the 10m Air rifle Men's Qualification after finishing in 39th ranking.
