The animated feature The Secret Life of Pets will be released across Egyptian cinemas in 3D Wednesday.
Brought to Egypt’s cinemas by Four Star Films, distributor of Universal Pictures and Paramount Pictures films in Egypt, the film has garnered over $441 million its worldwide release last month.
Co-directed by Chris Renaud and Yarrow Cheney, The Secret Life of Pets is centered on a terrier named Max who “gets upended when his owner takes in Duke, a stray whom Max instantly dislikes. They have to put their quarrels behind when they find out that an adorable white bunny named Snowball is building an army of lost pets determined to take revenge,” reads the press release issued by MAD Solutions, a Cairo-based company that specialises in public relations and marketing for the film and entertainment industry.
The film stars Louis C.K., Eric Stonestreet, Kevin Hart, Jenny Slate, and Albert Brooks.
Four Star Films announced the Egyptian release of The Secret Life of Pets in the following movie theatres: City Stars in Nasr City, Galaxy Mall of Arabia in 6th October, Americana Plaza in 6th October, Sun City in Heliopolis, Point 90 in New Cairo, Bandar in Maadi, and Nile City in Down Town.
The film is also screening in Alexandria's movie theatres, including Cineplex Green Plaza, City Center Carrefour.
The film’s sequel, The Secret Life of Pets 2, is scheduled to see the light in July 2018.
