Germany claimed the first rowing gold of a disrupted Rio 2016 regatta in the men's quadruple skulls final on Thursday.
The crew of Phillipp Wende, Lauritz Schoof, Karl Schulze and Hans Gruhne finished in a time of 6min 06.81sec to beat silver medallists Australia (6:07.96) and whilst Estonia (6:10.65) took bronze.
