On Friday 23 September, the Alexandria Opera String Orchestra, conducted by Ahmed Atef, will perform a selection of works, beginning with Mozart's The Marriage of Figaro (Le nozze di Figaro) overture K. 492.

The first half of the evening will also include Beethoven's Romance no. 1 Op. 50 for Violin and Orchestra and no. 2 Op. 50 in F Major. The violin soloist will be Hassan Sharara.

Mozart will return in the second half of the evening with Symphony no. 40 in G minor, K550.
