The Confederation of African Football (CAF) released on Thursday the date of the Champions League final between Egyptian side Zamalek and Sundowns of South Africa.
The first-leg will be played on the 15th of next month in Pretoria while the second would take place in Egypt one week-later.
The Cairo giants had asked the African governing body to play the first-leg on the 16th of October in order to give his international players the chance to get a rest before the African final.
Pharaohs coach Hector Cuper has named eight of Zamalek's players in his squad for Congo's clash in World Cup qualifiers scheduled on 9 October in Congo.
With his limited squad (17 players only), Zamalek fear that fatigue would hit his players due to the long-distance trips between Egypt, Congo and South Africa.
Zamalek are seeking their first Champions League title since 2002 when they lifted their fifth African trophy.
