Egypt’s national handball team has secured a place in the 2017 World Championship round of 16 after defeating Argentina 31-26 on Wednesday in their fourth round of the group stage.
Egypt dominated the game, giving a fine performance to easily advance into the knockout stage with a five-goal difference.
The Pharaohs collected six points from three victories over Qatar, Bahrain and Argentina, but lost once against Denmark.
Egypt, who are currently third on the table, will face Sweden in the final matchday of the group stage on Friday.
The first four teams in each group will advance to the knockout round.
