Rabab Nemr’s latest exhibition titled Patience is a Virtue is set to open at Zamalek Art Gallery on Sunday 19 February.
Rabab Nemr is an Egyptian artist. After graduating in 1963 from the Faculty of Fine Arts in Alexandria, she went on to obtain her doctorate in art from the San Fernando Academy, University of Madrid, in 1977.
Throughout her artistic career, her works have been exhibited in several countries around the world, in both solo and group exhibitions in The United States, Jordan, Bulgaria, Qatar, Kuwait, India, and Romania.
Her artworks can also be seen at the Tito Museum in Yugoslavia, the Egyptian Cultural Center in Paris, the Museum of Modern Art in Jordan and the International Conference Center in Cairo.
Nemr is also a member of the Syndicate of Fine Artists, the Cairo Atelier and the Alexandria Atelier, and has previously served as the Department Director for the Plastic Arts at the Palaces of Culture in Alexandria. She currently lives and works in Rome and Cairo.
