Egypt and Mouscron winger Mahmoud "Trezeguet" Hassan
Royal Excel Mouscron coach Mircea Rednic has lavished praised on Egypt's winger Mahmoud "Trezeguet" Hassan after his brace against Roeselare on Saturday but said there are still some aspects of his game that need to be improved.
"Trezeguet is a player who can make a difference, but we need to work on his tactical discipline. Sometimes he goes in all directions, except where he has to go," the Romanian tactician told Belgian website Sporza.
The 22-year old attacking midfielder netted twice and created a goal as Royal Excel Mouscron defeated Roeselare 5-3 in Group B of the Belgian league playoff on Saturday.
Trezeguet – who is on a one year loan to Mouscron coming from Anderlecht – has scored 6 goals and provided 5 assists in 24 games so far this season.
The player will not extend his stay at Mouscron, and is unlikely to at Anderlecht after having made a big impression at the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations that reportedly put him on the radar of several clubs in the Premier League.
