Temperatures in Egypt are expected to drop on Sunday following a nationwide heatwave that saw temperatures soar to 37 degrees Celsius in Cairo on Saturday, state news agency MENA reported.
Cairo will see highs of 27 degrees Celsius and lows of 18, while the coastal city of Alexandria to experience highs of 24 and lows of 16.
Clouds are expected in the north of the country with a chance of light rain on the northern coasts.
Dusty wind is expected in Upper Egypt, Sinai, the Gulf of Suez, and the Mediterranean and Red seas, which could lead to turbulent maritime navigation.
Waves in both seas will experience highs of 2.5 to three meters.
