Darb 1718's next Mazzika x El Sat7 musical evening, on 25 May, will feature the all-female band Binti.

The vocal-acoustic band is composed of six singing sisters with a shared passion for music. The band members are Hadiel, Yasmin, Amina, Rana, Sherien and Fedia.

Born to a Belgian mother and an Egyptian father, and hailing from Deinze, Belgium, the sisters chose the name Binti (which translates as "My Daughter") to reaffirm their Egyptian heritage.

The band uses minimal instrumentation, relying on six voices, a guitar and a flute, and covers a wide variety of genres, from old reggae to barbershop and even blues.

According to the band's Facebook page, the sisters have grown through exploring and interpretting such a wide range of genres.

The women have also appeared a wide variety of venues, including street performances and the stages at Belgium's Trade Fair, the Dioniss Festival, and the Ghent Festival of Flanders.

With Darb 1718's rooftop setting, the band's next performance promises to be a unique auditory experience.
