During their short visit to Egypt to attend the closing of the Cairo International Film Festival, American actors Nicolas Cage, Hilary Swank and Adrien Brody visited the Giza Plateau on Thursday to tour the pyramids and Sphinx.

Wael Fathy, chief inspector of the plateau, accompanied them during their visit. He told Ahram Online that they entered the Great Pyramid of Khufu and visited the Sphinx, as well as the Khufu Boat museum.

He said that the actors were fond of the distinguished and great ancient Egyptian civilization and that they promised to revisit the pyramids soon with their families.

The actors recorded their visit with photos at the footstep of the pyramids, in front of the Sphinx, and atop the nearby panorama viewing area.
