Russia's President Vladimir Putin will visit Egypt on Monday, the Egyptian presidential spokesman Bassam Rady said on Thursday.
During the visit, Putin will have talks with Egyptian President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi, on enhancing bilateral relations and cooperation on economic, political, trade, and energy files, the spokesman added.
"The visit comes per Egypt's and Russia's interest to enhance historical and strategic relations between both countries, the statement added.
The two presidents will also consult a number of regional files of common concern, the presidency said.
