Egyptian musicians to participate in UAE's Wasla Festival

Wasla is the Arab festival for alternative music held in Dubai

In its second edition, Dubai's Wasla Festival will take place on 2 February featuring several bands from the region including Egypt's Cairokee and Lekhfa trio (Maryam Saleh, Maurice Louca and Tamer Abu Ghazaleh).

The line-up will also include artists from other Arab countries such as Hayajan (Jordan), Autostrad (Jordan), Gnawa Diffusion (Algeria), Tania Saleh (Lebanon), Majaz (Bahrain) alongside UAE's local talents.

Wasla Festival aims at bringing the most recent developments in indie music to the listeners, showcasing reggae, rock, jazz, soul, pop. electronic music.

The festival is held at Dubai Design District, Dubai, UAE.
