Egypt claimed their third consecutive win in the ongoing Africa Cup of Nations after defeating Angola 20-25 on Sunday.

The defending champions secured a place in the tournament's quarters as they top Group B with six points from three games.

Angola also have six points but they played one match more than the Pharaohs.

Egypt, who also defeated Morocco and Nigeria, will end their group stage campaign on Monday when they face DR Congo.

Earlier in the day, Tunisia were held to a 24-24 draw by Algeria in a North African derby. Both sides have five points but Tunisia will have the chance to top Group A as they still have one match in hand.

The first three teams in the tournament will represent Africa at the World Championship, which will take place in Germany and Denmark next year.
