Egyptian artist Nadia Sirry awarded international prize Leonardo Da Vinci – The Universal Artist

At a special ceremony in Florence, the prize was awarded to several artists from around the world in recognition of their creative merits, with Sirry the only Egyptian among them

Egyptian fine artist Nadia Sirry has won the international prize Leonardo Da Vinci – The Universal Artist in recognition of her artistic accomplishments.

The award was offered to Sirry during an official ceremony held at the historic Borghese Palace in Florence on 20 January.

Art critics and international art personalities were in attendance at the high-profile event.

The award is curated by the Artistic Consulting Studio Russo and Effetto Arte Foundation in Italy.

Several artists from around the world, with various artistic specializations, were selected for the same honor, Sirry being the only Egyptian.

During the ceremony, Sirry dedicated her award to her homeland Egypt.
