Ahly club have finalised on Tuesday a move to obtain talented Enppi winger Salah Mohsen and Wadi Degla midfielder Mohamed Sherif.

Mohsen will be engaged with the Cairo-based club for five years and he is supposed to be registered before the end of the winter transfer window on Wednesday, the club announced Tuesday.

The young footballer was recently approached by Ahly rivals Zamalek, with chairman Mortada Mansour publicly offering EGP 42 million for Mohsen's services.

The deal's details have not been officially announced, but some reports suggest it is the biggest-ever in Egyptian football history.

Mohsen gained attention after starring with Enppi, where he scored 7 goals in 17 matches.

"Sherif has signed a four-and-a-half-year contract," Ahly Football Director Abdel-Aziz Abdel-Shafi confirmed.

In addition to Mohsen and Sherif, Ahly have also landed Ismailia Electricity defender Mahmoud El-Gazzar and Ennpi goalkeeper Ali Lotfi this week.

The Egyptian Premier League title holders are currently on top of the table with 48 points, six points ahead of Ismaily and they still have a game in hand.
