Liverpool's Egyptian winger Mohamed Salah said on Wednesday he is only focusing on helping his side win titles, and refuses to consider himself the team's "king."

Liverpool's last title was in 2012, when they won the League Cup, and they have not won the Premier League since 1990.

Salah, who joined Liverpool from the Serie A side Roma, took the Premier League by storm, scoring 21 goals to take his tally to 28 goals in 35 appearances with Liverpool in all competitions.

When asked if he consider himself the 'King of the Kop' especially after the departure of Philippe Coutinho, the Egyptian winger told 4-4-2 "I don’t know if it’s up to me to say that, so maybe I’ll leave it up to the fans."

"I’m happy scoring goals for the club I supported as a kid – that’s all that matters."

"We want to push ourselves to win something, for us, for the fans and for the club. That is and always will be our target; a trophy."
