This year's Downtown Contemporary Arts Festival (D-CAF) will kick off on 8 March with the renowned Moroccan pop singer Samira Said in an all-female opening concert.
The festival will continue until 29 March after presenting a variety of theatre, dance, music events, alongside steet performances, a visual arts programme, and workshops and seminars all focusing on venues and spaces in Downtown Cairo.
In its fourth edition within D-CAF, the Arab Arts Focus segment will take place between 22 and 26 March.
Over the past years, D-CAF, the multidisciplinary festival presented a rich line-up of music, visual arts, dance, film, literature, and theater, bringing artists from all around the globe to Cairo audiences.
