An in-form Masry side will be looking to continue their fine Confederation Cup form when they visit Tanzania's Simba in Dar-es-Salaam in the competition's round of 32 first leg on Wednesday.

After defeating Zambia's Green Buffaloes 5-2 on aggregate in the preliminary round, Hossam Hassan's men will be keen to ensure their passage to the last-16 this time around.

However, they will be facing an opponent who have vast experience in African competitions in Simba, who are currently topping their domestic league standings.

"We are better than Masry and play a much better football," Simba boss Pierre Lechantre said ahead of the game.

"We have been away from the latter stages of African competitions in a while but we will fight to win."

Masry, currently fourth of the Egyptian league standings, are on an eight-match unbeaten league run, as they remain in contention for the Champions League-qualifying second spot.

Defender Islam Serri misses out for Masry due to injury, while the Port-Said side fly to Dar-es-Salaam with an all-out attack boasting Aristide Bance, Issouf Ouattara, Ahmed Gomaa and Mohamed Grendo.

The return leg takes place on March 17 at Port-Said Stadium.
